| Jim Brewster Go Back to Writers
Jim has over 26 years experience in weight training, beginning back in 1980. Jim also
has over 16 years experience in the retail supplement business. In 1990, he went to work part
time for a national vitamin chain, and within six months was promoted to store manager. He continued
to move up the ranks to the level of District Manager, overseeing 30 stores. He held this
position for five years until inner corporate turmoil led him to other pursuits, but he soon came
back to the field he loved. Jim now manages a store for a different national chain and also
oversees four other stores, history is beginning to repeat itself as the next step would
be as a district manager. Through his employers, he has completed several personal training
courses, always with a strong emphasis on nutrition and supplements.
Jim has worked out most of this time, besides taking a five-year layoff in the mid-nineties, but
once bitten by the iron bug, always bitten. Jim is now in serious training for
a masters bodybuilding competition to be held later this year.
