ABOUT NANCY
Nancy
has been an active part of the fitness community for over 23 years.
Nancy's experience with mental imagery in athletics started when she was
on the swim team in high school. Nancy says, "I remember visualizing my
races from start to finish, stroke by stroke, and on the days I could
clearly see in my mind a perfect race, I had a perfect race in reality".
It was from then on out she realized the power of the mind to make
things happen.
As a
teenager, Nancy became an aerobics instructor and personal trainer for a
major fitness chain now known as Bally's. Nancy moved on into management
within the company and later worked with several other fitness centers,
doing personal training and running the facilities. It is through Nancy's
travels promoting health and fitness that she saw a new need emerging. No
longer were people just needing trainers. People were asking Nancy how
exactly did she live her life. How did she manage to keep and ongoing
fitness program, eat healthy and enjoy all the other areas of life as
well? People's needs have evolved from just wanting the mechanics of the
exercises to wanting the mental approach that goes behind being motivated
to go through the different processes involved in living a fit and healthy
life. That is when Nancy's education in fitness branched out into Hypnosis
and NLP. Nancy wanted to be able to share with others HOW she did things
and HOW to motivate them to live a fit and healthy life.
Nancy's main
objective in the fitness community is to bring back the FUN in fitness.
Health and fitness to mainstream America has been a struggle for decades
and it is getting increasingly more of a challenge. Mention the word
exercise and most people cringe. Nancy's ideas are to make this an easy
part of daily living so that we can all have healthy bodies as well as
healthy minds to move forward and achieve our outcomes with 100%
dedication and energy. Nancy's newest addition to achieve this fitness
objective is her two hypnosis audio programs, The Fitness Excellence™ Hypnosis
Series as well as The Competitive Advantage™ Hypnosis Series. Nancy uses a combination of
elegant light hearted metaphors combined with direct suggestion to easily
and effortlessly facilitate change at the unconscious level. Nancy is also
the author of Crossing The Line-Discovering Your True Fitness Potential. Her original audio program.
Nancy runs a
private hypnotherapy practice
in Glendale, California. She also does one on one Personal Training and Life Coaching.
Nancy is a Certified Lifestyle Fitness Coach, Certified Fitness Nutrition
Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Sports Hypnotist and Certified
NLP Practitioner. She is dedicated to the mind and body as one unit and
treats her mind with as much respect as her body. Nancy is a former Ms.
Fitness USA Champion and currently an active IFBB Figure Pro.
Nancy
believes in balance. Integrating the mind and the body, and living
congruently. Nancy believes that it is when we are congruent in our day to
day living that we experience the most joy and flow in our lives. Knowing
that we are taking care of our body through proper exercise, good
nutrition and positive metal imagery is big part of our overall happiness
and wellness. Nancy desires to help you make your life more compelling,
rich and delightful. How can you have a world where you jump out of bed in
the morning with excitement and enthusiasm. Not simply just to eliminate
problems, but to create an inner world that sings loudly, has panoramic
pictures and it feels great just being in your body. That is the ultimate
in fitness success.

 | | Do You Enjoy It? - By Nancy Georges
Yes, I figured I would get your attention with that one. But really, do you enjoy your workouts? Do you enjoy the process of losing weight, trimming down, building muscle, competing in figure, fitness, running a marathon or any other sport for that matter? Does fitness feel like something you should do? Or is it something you enjoy? Read More... | | | | Are You Really Willing To Put In the Work? - By Nancy Georges
Ok, so everybody wants to change right? We all have a laundry list of outcomes. Lose 10 pounds, get rid of the flabby underarms, and stop yelling and husband and kids. (You do that?) The laundry list goes on. But the question is; what are you doing about it? And the next question is what are you willing to do about it. The flavor of the month is PERSISTENCE!!!! I have come in contact with this much needed resource quite frequently in my own life in my training as well as personal life. You know what I mean. You start a new program a few weeks later you look in the mirror and things seem to look the same, and so you say to yourself, what's the use, what's the point, I may as well just quit, nothing is happening. Then you keep at it for just another week or two and miraculously major shifts happen and you forget you were even belly aching about it in the first place. Everybody knows that the body loves homeostasis. Homeostasis is also known as a set point. It loves to maintain a certain temperature, a certain weight, a certain level of body water and other physiological elements. We all know this, we use this to battle fat loss by getting the body to respond by mixing things up, increasing and decreasing calories from day to day, doing interval training as well as mixing up our workouts every four weeks or so.
